5.04 Super Lucky Happy

Remember this will be a SPOILER review.
The light nature of the show returned but only for a little bit because by the end of the episode, the show returned to the darkside once again. Nancy had a choice in which she could have ended this whole fiasco with Esteban but she decided to side with the father of her child. Ultimately being responsible for the death of a cop, a good guy who lost his boyfriend to this Mexican drug lord. Nancy is beyond saving from this point and it seems she’s going to try and create a life with Esteban.
This episode was a great showcase for Andy. From telling Nancy to kiss him, from working out as Jamie Lee Curtis to impersonating his dead brother to get into his savings account. For the first time in the show, we see something from Nancy regarding her true feelings for Andy.
Geeky Thoughts:-
- Shane deserved what he got when his English teacher stole the pot. He has been far too cocky recently.
- Celia trying to get to stay with Nancy was funny. I’m wondering what her role will eventually be this season.
- Esteban’s thugs are always extremely funny. Brilliantly written.
I saw a way out of the Esteban story but it seems the writters want this to go the whole season. I really enjoyed the episode as it was very light throughout and gave us some cracking lines, for example…

Huh? How could she’ve gotten out of the mess with Esteban? If she had let Till go, he would’ve killed her.

Till wouldn’t have killed Nancy imo. He would have made Nancy get Esteban over so he could kill him. I don’t think he would have killed a pregnant woman.
