5.o6 A Modest Proposal

Six Months Later

Remember this will be a SPOILER review.

So between episode 5 and this, six months has passed and Nancy is very big.  She’s still living with Esteban in his giant house along with Shane.  She seems very happy with her life at the moment.  Then Esteban proposes to her and she seems taken to the idea but would rather keep her own name, she wants to keep her identity.

Meanwhile Andy has become a little depressed about the situation with Nancy and has grown a paedophile beard and spent his money on Ms Pac Man.  He isn’t very happy when he finds out that Nancy and Esteban are getting married.

Though that end scene with that women ranting at Esteban is interesting.  Now he has called off the wedding.  If you don’t understand spanish like me, then here is the translation;

“You loved me good, until you got your BOY with her. But Marry her? Are you crazy? All the eyes of Mexico will be on you. All my hopes, my effort, my money, my time – I put into you?
You should have killed the fucking white bitch when you had the chance! What I’m saying is you have to choose between me and the white woman.”

Seems she is the one in charge, pulling the strings perhaps.  Though what is her relationship to Esteban?

Geeky Thoughts:-

• Doug tanning up was quite funny.  Doing everything the way of George Hamilton.
• What condition is the cop in?
• Ignacio just gets more amazing with every episode.  Him beating up the golfer in front of a terrified Shane was great to see.

Though with all that, I found this episode to be very weak.  With six months passed, it had to set up the characters lives.  It felt like a season premiere and with all the set up, it left little room for laughs.
